Sales & Business Development Manager/Associate

 Job Description:

 The new Sales and Business Development Manager will help secure new strategic partners that help LightChange Technologies increase their product and solutions sales across Kentucky and Southern Indiana. In addition to driving revenue of the company, this individual will be positioned as a company leader that will assist in driving company direction and intelligent growth. The role requires a ‘get out of the building’ mentality, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. Our ideal candidate comes on board with a sense of urgency to succeed.

 The Day-to-Day:

 We’ll keep you busy, but we keep it fun.

•Focus on developing new relationships with companies

•Have a strategic end-to-end sales process

•Understand and value engineering team’s schedule and needs

•Maintain pipeline

•Aggressively follow up on leads and have the ability to close the sale

•Target strategic, or tactically important accounts that are agreed upon with leadership and marketing teams

•Drive strategy for business development and execute an enhanced sales strategy

•Work with existing client base to push new profitable solutions for them

•Create partnerships that can push LightChange Technologies’ capabilities and offerings forward

•Work closely with marketing team to assist in creating assets and content to support sales initiatives

•Travel when necessary. *Please note we work within Kentucky and Southern Indiana.


 Think you have what it takes?

•Has 5+ years sales experience and has sold projects valued at over $50K

•Manage CRM (currently utilizing ZohoCRM but open to change)

•Strong communication and collaboration skills

•Ability and confidence to give company-focused presentations

•Drive and resilience

•Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
