Empowering Your People, Process, & Technology

    CybersecurityOTNetworkAISystemsCloud

Trusted by manufacturers, ISPs, energy companies, and organizations well beyond critical infrastructure to design, run, and secure what they depend on. We build in your environment, on your tools, for partnerships that last across your business and your team.

    The problems we solve

You handle the day to day. We handle the hard stuff.

Most MSPs run the same playbook on every client. We don't. Whether you've got a full IT team or you're running without one, we bring specialist depth to the problems that don't fit the day-to-day, and we work within your existing structure.

    Lack of Time

The project that never reaches the top.

Your team rarely gets time to start the big projects. We pick them up and take them to the finish line.

    Lack of Skills

The expertise you don't need full-time.

You bring us in for the work that needs a specialist: advanced networking, OT and ICS security, cybersecurity programs. We handle both planning and execution.

    Lack of Capacity

When the stakes spike, you need backup.

A deadline that can't move, an incident that can't wait. You get senior people who already know your environment.

    How we work

We consult, we execute, and we share our notes.

We design and build alongside your team, every step of the way. We don't lock your infrastructure inside our own ecosystem or keep the documentation to ourselves. The diagrams, the configs, the reasoning behind every decision: it's your infrastructure, so the knowledge stays with you.

"I think the biggest benefit is just having peace of mind. Not that we aren't going to have issues, or things aren't going to break, but the partner that we have in LightChange is just very quick to respond."

Two things. Most MSPs want to run your environment inside their tools, on their ticketing system, with the documentation staying on their side. We work inside your structure and hand the documentation to you. The second is depth: OT security, advanced networking, and cybersecurity programs are specialties we staff for, so you get an engineer who does that work every week rather than a generalist stretching to cover it.
No. That's where we're deepest, and it's where our standard came from, because those networks don't get maintenance windows. In practice we work with any organization that has an IT team and a problem bigger than that team: manufacturers, financial services firms, distribution and logistics, professional services, and multi-site enterprises.
Your team stays in charge. We work alongside them and take on the specialized projects and problems that are hard to staff for full-time, and we share what we learn so your team comes out stronger.
There's no minimum. The test is whether you already have IT people who are carrying more than they can get to. In practice that usually starts around 100 employees and runs up through multi-site enterprises with a full IT department and one gap they can't fill.
We'd rather earn your business than paper it. Engagements are scoped to the work, and the relationship continues because it's worth continuing. Most of our clients have stayed with us more than a decade, by choice.
An Infrastructure Review is a scoped look at your networks, systems, and security to find the gaps that matter and what to do about them. It's how a lot of our engagements start, and you get a clear picture whether or not you work with us further.
LightChange does. We're a critical-infrastructure security and IT firm with Kentucky roots, working with the utilities, co-ops, municipalities, water authorities, ISPs, and manufacturers that communities depend on. We've done this work since 2004 for clients across the continental US.
We do. LightChange runs cybersecurity programs, network infrastructure, and OT security for critical-infrastructure operators across the continental US: electric systems, water authorities, city and county governments, ISPs, and manufacturers.

What's stuck on the whiteboard? Let's talk.

Maybe it's a network that can't afford to go down, an OT environment you can't see into, or a security program that's all tools and no plan. Whatever's on the board, tell us what you're working on and you'll talk it through with an engineer, not a sales person.
